11 Nov - Remembrance Day
9am Remembrance Day Join the entire nation for the Remembrance Day ceremony at the Cenotaph. If you haven't witnessed this ceremony live-in person, it is something you should experience. Feel the moment wash over you as you see the thousands of people who travel from across the country to attend this event. Young and old, as the years pass Remembrance Day remains significant to all of us. Watch as the grave of the fallen soldier turns red with a sea of poppies, add yours to the mix and pause to contemplate. November is a time for Remembrance. To each of us it means something different. This year spend it with new friends and reflect together on why we remember. Rental Gear If rental gear is available for this program but you choose to use your own gear, we strongly recommend the gear is relatively new and in good condition. If you have questions about the suitabilty of your gear, please contact Ripple Adventure. Email/Cell Phone Number We send out an email to all participants the day before our events with any updates to our meeting location/time and weather considerations. We often call cell phones if participants are late to an event. Please make sure you check your email the day of the event for event information and provide the email and phone you can be reached at. Carpool We use carpooling to get participants to some events. If you have a car, it would be greatly appreciated if you could gain a few new grateful friends by offering seats in your vehicle. If you are looking for a ride, please don't forget to bring your driver a few dollars($3-$10) to help cover fuel. Please connect on our car pool forum!
